Family of origin • Who am I? • I am a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a niece, and a cousin. • I set the stage being the first born on both sides of my family. • My parents friends were always a huge part of my life and I was the first child born into that “family”. • I have nine cousins and I brother who I ruled over. • Being first born I got a lot of attention and took the job of talking for those younger than me. • Close family who praised every move I made growing up giving me the confidence to be me • Being the oldest I believe gave me my caretaker personality and my want to help others

Family of origin My father Influenced my taste in music Owns his own business, Schmidt Masonary, so he worked a lot Taught me one of my greatest lessons in life that attitude is everything, if you have a bad attitude you're not going to get anywhere. Love of traveling, hunting, and started my love of decorating

Religion • Negativity with religion • Being a Christian is accepted but because I do practice my faith people often assume I think I'm better than them because I am a Christian or that because I believe it I'm going to make you believe it too • Within my Schmidt side there has been several events that religion made worse instead of improving • My grandparents are extremely religious • My aunt missy got pregnant in high school • Crisis within that for my grandfather because my uncle is Japanese • My Uncle Mike married a Catholic and my cousin was baptized in a Catholic Church • My Uncle Marcus divorced his wife and became true to himself and told the family he was homosexual • My getting pregnant at 18 and my boyfriend and I not planning on getting married right away • Called my unborn babies bastards and told me they would pray for my soul and their soul, but in a nice way?

Friends • Out of all the people I am closest to outside of my family my boyfriend is one of the last people I met and I met him in sixth grade • I've had the same friend since preschool • My parents’ friends were like a second family to me so I try to have our friends involved with our children as much as possible • Over for dinner constantly • Have our own Christmas together • Always at our children's birthday parties
