Conclusions • APAI’s role is facilitator between contractors and public agencies including IDOT, county, city and consulting engineers • IDOT is the “rule maker” for all of Iowa • RAS is beneficial to asphalt • The success of RAS will ultimately depend on the marketplace and regulatory agencies
