Dear Mom and Dad, View of a tower Ryan and I are having a great time in Tunisia! We are in Sidi Bou Said (Blue City). We had couscous and harrisa for lunch. Our tour guide, Naomi, told us couscous is Tunisia’s national dish. After we finished our lunch, Naomi showed us around Sidi Bou Said. No wonder it’s called Blue City, there are so many blue doors and windows! At about 1:30 PM we left for the Sahara Desert by airplane The Sahara is the second largest desert in the world. We arrived at about 2:15 PM and we got to ride camels! We figured out that camels were mostly used for transportation in the Sahara Desert. We were back at Sidi Bou Said at about 6:00 PM. Then we had tomato salad and hot and spicy food. Tunisian’s love salads and spicy food that is hot.
