    5. A few reminders about millennials They have skill deficiencies in note-taking, memorization, studying, and time management. They are poor at class preparation and participation. They have little experience organizing their lives--need structure and guidance. They have problems integrating work, studies and recreation. They have high failure and drop-out rates. They tend to externalize blame.

    6. Remember, they are still growing and developing…

    7. And learning new skills!

    8. Which means we must adapt to Students who have short attention spans (grasshopper minds). Students who tend to be impatient. Students who pay less attention to detail which includes spelling, grammar, etc. Students who display more cognitive rigidity: Under stress, we regress.
