  2. Welcome our classrooms! • Take a look around at the room before we begin! • Hello! We are your child’s 5th grade teachers: Nate Farrar Jami Hagen Amanda McPeak

  3. Our Goals • To give you the academic and social skills you need to progress to 6th grade. • To provide a supportive and fun classroom environment. • To help you make new friends and discover new interests. • To give you every opportunity to succeed and thrive in your own personal way.

  4. Bulldog Folder • Your child should take their BULLDOG FOLDER home EVERY WEEK. • This folder contains all important papers to parents, finished and unfinished homework.

  5. Other areas • Social Studies Newspapers - $6 per student • Oceanography Club • Tax Credit Forms – up to $400 • Soup Labels& Box Tops: free money for the classroom from the PTSO!!

  6. Field Trips In 5th grade we will have 4 field trips: • Halle Heart Center • Walk-To-Walmart • Arizona Science Lab • History/Constitution Presentation The total cost for these is $20 per student. We will ask for $$ as the trips come, so you don’t have to pay it all at the beginning of the year!
