  4. Student Expectations • Be on time. • Be prepared. (Homework) • Be respectful. • Be inquisitive. • Be positive about their learning.

  5. Absences Excuse Note Students will be given the missed work and assignments, but they are required to bring in an excuse note. If an excuse note is not brought in within 3 days of the absence the work will not count!!

  6. Missed tests…(New school policy) If a student misses a review day, he or she is still expected to take the assessment on the scheduled day. If a student is absent the day of the assessment he or she will be expected to take it the first day he or she returns.

  7. Grading Guidelines • Homework - 2 points each - HW quizzes • Quizzes - at least 1 or 2 a chapter • Tests - 45 to 60 minutes • Midterm • Final Exam

  8. PREREQUISITE • Students need an 80% or higher in this class to be recommended for Honors Trigonometry.

  9. Extra Help 3rd – HATS period Any other scheduled time. (RtII responsibility)
