  2. What is an EOC? Coordination of Information and Resources RESOURCES Executive Policy Group Incident Command Post Incident Commander Incident- On Scene Response

Executive Policy Group: • University President • Executive Vice President and Provost • Vice President for Business Affairs • Vice President for Student Affairs, • Vice President for Communications • Chief of Police • Director of Environmental Health and Safety • Asst. V.P. for Procurement Management • Asst. V.P. for Facilities Management, • Aramark/Food Services Management • Director for Counseling • Director for Student Health Services Note: The Emergency Management Coordinator serves as the technical advisor to the Policy and Operational groups on State and Federal laws and program policies as it relates to the national EM system to include the State of Texas EM/HS system.

Emergency Services MgmtEOC Team Management/Supervisory Personnel from the following departments: • University Police Department • Emergency Management • Environmental Health and Safety • Facilities Management • Aramark/Food Services • Procurement/Financial Services *If the campus emergency or crisis situation is of such degree and magnitude that necessitates the involvement of the city of Richardson’s Fire Department, Police Department , Emergency Management/HS, Parks and Recreation, Health and Public Works, these local government agencies may also be included in the University Unified Command and/or have a position in the University EOC operations.

  5. EmergencySupport Services This group of University departments and external agencies will provide support by supplementing University assets and sustain emergency responders needs and also to coordinate emergency assistance by providing through organized volunteer organizations, business and industry, and other sources key support to the University emergency management. Examples of support agencies would be: • Student Services • Greater Dallas Area American Red Cross • Dallas Salvation Army • City of Richardson Fire Department/Hazmat • U. S. Environmental Protection Agency • Private organizations • Procurement • VOAD • City of Richardson • Texas Department of Health and Human Services • Governor’s Division of Emergency Management

  6. Volunteer and Other Services This group includes our UTD CERT team and other organized volunteer groups and businesses that have agreed to provide certain support for emergency operations. Examples of these groups would be: • Greater Dallas American Red Cross • Dallas Salvation Army • Victim Relief • Texas Baptist Men Association • Local church Organizations • Richardson Ham radio operators in association with the city of Richardson.
