  2. LA RED DEL HOGAR (Home Networking) Desde el punto de vista de servicios. El hogar actual se caracteriza por tener servicios independientes con múltiples dispositivos. El hogar del futuro se caracterizará por integrar los múltiples servicios independientes bajo una red interna única.

  3. EXISTEN UN GRAN NUMERO DE SERVICOS Y APLICACIONES QUE PUEDEN OFRECERSER

PASARELA RESIDENCIAL UNA NECESIDAD: • Interconectar las diferentes opciones de redes de acceso con los distintos equipos / electrodomésticos de una vivienda. • Igualmente, servir de punto de acceso para las comunicaciones y plataforma de soporte de aplicaciones típicas del hogar (tales como control domótico, seguridad / vigilancia, control energético, entretenimiento, comercio-e, tele-asistencia, etc.)
