Regional Manager Responsibilities • Recruit and Train • 2-3 art and engineering majors to help teach. (TA’s) • Sell • 30 – 50 members from your home town • $40/month/member who have access to: • Social network site for builders. • Build-It-Yourself content. • Four 1-hour webcasts per month. • Deliver Product • Teach art and engineering workshops. • Manage • Schedule the workshops. • Report progress. Market Demand? 1. Kids: Computer games and YouTube videos are popular, engaging, kid activities. Build-It-Yourself presents game-like missions with an opportunity to post your solutions on Invention Universe. 2. Parents, whose kids are on a college track: Want their kids to be computer literate but not via violent games and videos or potentially dangerous social networks. 3. Top, expensive universities: - want to offer work / study / co-op scholarships,. - need to identify and recruit best students 8 – 18. - want to be on the forefront of eLearning initiatives. - want to offer entrepreneurial experiences to students. - want to grow international presence.

Sales Commission Analysis • Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) • In our BP, we modeled that our CAC is about 20% of the customer value. • Assume 10% is BIY cost of sales support. • That leaves 10% for the student sales person commission. • Assume a student sells and maintains a membership pool of 50 members after 12 months. • Gross revenue is $18K / year after mo. 12 ($30/mo x 12 mos. X 50 members) • Student commission at 10% would be $1800 / year • Assume a student must spend 4 hrs. per week over 50 weeks to build and maintain this pool. • Student hourly rate would be $9/hr.

Regional Manager Responsibilities • Recruit and train 2-3 fellow college students to help you deliver workshops. • Recruit and schedule members (ages 8 – 18) from your home town.
