  4. Military Classes • 1st September 2000 The first militaryclassstudentsenteredourschoolbuilding. • After completingtheireducation, students receiveThe Certificate of Military Training.

  5. TheSchool Volunteer Group • Co-operates with the nursery at Powstańców Street. • Cares for the elderly, disabledteachers • Works for charities • Organizescharityactionslikecollectingsweetsor toys for children

  6. Carried out actions: "The insulin pump for 1.5-year-old Peter" • YOU can be the Santa Claus" - Christmas market, collecting toys for theOrphanage • collecting school supplies for children fromtheorphanage

  7. Cooperation withCreiourtwintownin France Ten times the students of our high school participated in an online meeting with youth from the French town of Creil.

  8. „We – the Internet Users” followedtheevents of the BOOK week.

Cooperation withTarnopolourUkraineantwintown • In June 2008, we hostedthe 17 young people withtheirteachers of the UkrainianTernopil (Tarnopol)During their stay young people implemented a joint program: Poland and Ukraine - Historical and cultural consequences of our neighborhood. Polish and Ukrainian youth spent their time hiking Podbeskidzie mountain trails and visiting Chorzow (thetwin city of Tarnopol), Krakow and Silver Mine in Tarnowskie Gory. • Since then, once a year we meetwithourcolleagueseitherin Tarnopol orinChorzow

  14. LigonMonthlyMeetings • Theprojectaimsat developing citizenship among students and engaging them inmeetings and discussions with the prominent personalitiesfromallwalks of life: politicians, localauthorities,actors , writers and journalists.

  15. Comenius Assistantship2009/10 • TheHungarianAssistantiscurrently teaching at our school. Thanks to Lifelong Learning Programme COMENIUS Tibor Szilagyi, a teacher assistant fromHungaryarrivedinChorzow. His adventure with our school began Oct. 19 and will last until June. Tibor Szilagyi graduated from the University of Budapest and is a qualified teacher of history and English.
