  2. A word game where one player prompts another for a list of words to substitute for blanks in a story, usually with funny results. • Mad Libs was invented in 1953 by Leonard Stern and Roger Price, who published the first Mad Libs book themselves in 1958. Mad Libs

  20. You will write a serious or comedic monologue (speech) that you will perform alone. Your topic must be school appropriate and you must have a hard copy to turn in. Your topic should be something you are passionate about or simply entertaining for your audience. Your performance must be well-rehearsed and last 1-3 minutes. HINT: A 1 minute commercial is approximately 150 words or one full page of writing. Monologue Assignment
