Fakhr-e-Imdad Foundation is a non-governmental organization established to provide quality education, healthcare, and urban facilities to underprivileged communities. The foundation also conducts free skin and eye camps to address common health issues in rural areas.

Back Ground • Introduction: • Fakhr-e-Imdad Foundation is a non-governmental, non political and non sectarian organization registered with SECP under article 42, of companies’ ordinance 1984 since 2000. • It was established In order to provide quality education, health care facilities and urban like facilities to the under privileged society of rural areas, regardless of class, gender, color, sect or religion.
Vision • Improve Quality of Life and Standard of living of people of rural areas through good quality of education and health facilities.
Mission Statements • To establish institutions to spread literacy and provide high quality education and health-care facilities for poor people of rural areas; • To support human right issue and capacity building of institutions for sustainable development with community participation; • To alleviate poverty through micro-credits; • Social development of women, minority groups, physically and socially handicapped persons, by motivation to fight poverty through self help and self reliance.

Free Skin Camps Background According to Reports: • Ninety percent of the people are suffering from Skin diseases, caused by the environment pollution in Pakistan, especially in rural areas. • There are more than 10,000 kinds of skin diseases. Some of the Skin diseases are very serious and could cause Skin cancer if they are not treated timely and properly. • Low standard of living, lack of education of the general public, non improvement in the environmental, sanitation, and non availability of good nutritious food and sweet/purified water are the main causes of skin diseases in the rural areas.

Free Eye Camps Background: • Every day hundreds of people across Pakistan go blind, often from preventable causes. Those most affected masses live in rural areas where they are not in a position to travel to approach big cities for help. They can't afford even the expense to travel. • According to survey reports, across Pakistan more than 1.49 to 1.54 million people are totally blind yet much of this blindness is avoidable. Cataract blindness accounts for approximately 70% of cases. • While people in Western countries have had ready access to cataract surgery, in Pakistan this is not the case. Most eye care services are only available in Pakistan's major cities, yet about 71% of the population lives in rural areas without access to health services .
