Construction • The Titanic was built in Belfast. • It was built in the years 1909 to the year 1912. • It was meant to be the largest most luxurious ship ever made. • The designer of the Titanic was named Thomas Andrews. • The ship could hold up to 3,547 people.
Facilities Onboard • The ship had a very expensive areas such as. • A heated swimming pool. • A gymnasium • A Turkish bath • A squash court
Maiden Voyage • The Titanic began her first voyage from Southampton to New York on the 10th of April 1912. • This was called the Maiden Voyage. • It was the captains last mission before retirement.
The Sinking • On Sunday 14th of April 1912 the weather was very unusual weather this was the day of the Titanic sank. • It was stuck by a ice-burg this ice-burg was 20 meters out of the water. • The Titanic had 20 life boats.
Aftermath • After the Titanic sank the RMS Carpathia came to board the survivors at 4:10am. • There were 716 survivors. • Over 1517 people who were not as lucky as the survivors.
