Objectives of the Project • To undertake interventions related to productivity enhancement of aman paddy. • To undertake interventions related to water harvesting through watershed. • To undertake interventions related to productivity enhancement of livestock and fisheries. • To undertake interventions related to productivity enhancement of cotton and cashew. • To undertake interventions related to commercial seed production on paddy, maize, mustard, lentil, jute and wheat. • To undertake interventions related to enterprise concerning vermicompost, medicinal plant, Commercial Nursery and dry flower.

Deliverables of the Project • Increased production and income (50-70%) of 3000 farm families in 18 villages in 3 districts. • Establishment of 1000 micro-entrepreneurs (women and landless labours) through skill training and networking. • Increase in rice productivity by 70-100%. • Livestock productivity enhancement (70-100%). • Watershed structures on 100 ha which will improve income (70-100%). Cont.
Deliverables of the Project(cont) • Reduced distressed out migration of poor farm families in search of job during slack season (30% reduction). • Establishment of Small Producers AgribusinessResource Centre (SPARC) to promote sustainable skill training, networking, knowledge management and entrepreneurship development at each cluster as a part of exit plan. • Formation of 200 Farmer Producer Groups (including women) federated into Producer Company in each cluster to ensure premium pricing of the commodity produced.
