  2. How to Succeed • Respect everyone and everything around you. • Be in your seat, on time, ready, when the bell rings. • Have all supplies for class. • No eats, drinks, or smokes. • Only one person speaks at a time.

  3. What We Learn • Vocabulary and Derivatives • Culture and History • Grammar • How to Translate • How to say the words properly • How to think critically

  4. Grading • Nine Week grade = • I/CP – 60% Major; 40% Minor • PAP – 80% Major; 20% Minor • Schedule of quiz and test grades posted on www.johnpauliihs.org website. • Quizzes mostly of vocabulary and grammar. • Homework is minimal but vocabulary or translation will be done EVERY night.
