Physical Properties A characteristic of a physical property that can be observed without changing into another substance • Melting point/Boiling Point • Density • Luster (reflective property) • Freezing point • Solubility
Chemical Properties A characteristic of a pure substance that describes its ability to change into a different substance. The substances ability to react to other substances • Combustion (ability to burn) • Baking (ability to produce gas) • Oxidation (ability to rust)
