THE SYSTEM APPROACH TO KNOWLEDGEMANAGEMENTSYSTEMS DESIGNING AND DEVELOPMENT Tuzovsky A.F., Yampolsky V.Z. Cybematic Center Institute, Tomsk Polytechnic University Proceedings of the 7th Korea-Russia International Symposium. KORUS 2003.
Research Interest • The paper consider the main stages of knowledgeprocessing • Defining Company's new knowledge requirements, exposure knowledge of: • organization • building conceptual model of Company's subject area • knowledge description (meta-data) • educational courses elaboration for new knowledge mastering • sharing knowledgeof Company.
Research Interest • To designing structure of KMS • On the basis ofsuggested approach to building KMSwhich will he able to use internet/intranet technologies
Methodology • Reviewing from reference articles
Result • Gather the reference to use as MKS system design approach • Knowledge • Something that is contained in a head of person • Don’t know how the knowledge store in natural way • Knowledge can be realized by its owner • Knowledge of employees of the organization is Its resource • The organization works better and has greater potential forwork in the future if its employees have wide and deep knowledge • knowledge can be taken into account and accumulated • knowledge can be transferred
Information technologies in knowledge management • computer works only withinformation coded as the numerical data • knowledge can be coded as the information • information can be stored for unlimited period of time, systematized, transferred, copied
Knowledge Management Systems • KMS it is a set of means • approaches • organizational actions • informational repositories • technical resources • the software • The primary goals of KMS are gathering of knowledge and reuse it • If the purpose of information system is effective storage and attracting by request of the necessary information
KMS should use workflows for the following purposes: • Share of knowledge. • Documents gathering which formed as a result of performance. • Special workflow creation for purposeful formation and description of new knowledge. • KMS must support processes of creating new knowledge, their collecting and distributing.
