Supporting Quest for Distinction • Quest for Distinction presents a mandate for the promotion of academic quality and student success in the context of a premier, urban public research university. • The Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs : • Recruit and retain talented and diverse students • Recruit and retain talented and diverse faculty, staff and senior leadership • Provide quality education; engage students in learning • Become a national model for community engagement • University-wide: • Implement Five-Year Diversity Plan • Implement and manage Quest accountability
