(Vosotros) votáis. !! Notice the accent!! (Tú) escribes. (Usted) bebe. Rearrange the following words to form a sentence.   19. Stem- Changing Verbs Do you remember what a STEM is?? A STEM is the front half of the verb…basically the part before the –AR, -ER, or –IR ending. What part is the STEM? HABLAR COMER ASISTIR HABLAR COMER ASISTIR ¡Exprésate! Ch.1-1 pg. 12 & 14

  20. Some verbs have a spelling change in their stems when conjugated. This is purely for orthographic reasons. There are only 4 types of stem-changing verbs in the present tense. The spelling change occur in ALL forms EXCEPT NOSOTROS and VOSOTROS.
