7. 1C-Columbus • From Hanger 7 at Columbus Airport, to a garage, to a place 1C now calls home, a former Sunmart store in the heart of Columbus, NE • January 2007, Jerry Steger graduated from the Lay Leadership program of the Nebraska District LCMS • December of 2005, Jerry was commissioned at Peace, Columbus, to head up a mission church • 1C’s goals: • Reaching out to those in the community who do not attend church • Focus on those who have stopped attending church regularly

Rinehart will help them to find a place of worship and office space at Trinity • Sudanese leaders will take turns leading worship services • Services will begin September 30

A joint effort between Beautiful Savior and Cross. • In September Obdulio will: • Enroll at the Center for Hispanic Studies, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis • Begin training for pastoral ministry
