The Origin of Christmas Once upon a time , there was a baby who was born in a stable. The baby was Jesus Christ. Christmas is on 25th December so as to remember the birth of Jesus Christ.
The Period of Christmas Christmas is in winter. The weather is cold. The city is very busy and noisy. The sky is full of snow. The people are happy.
Special features Father Christmas is an old man. He lives in Finland. He wears red clothes. He always gives presents and toys to good children.
The Activities of Christmas At Christmas, we deliver presents to our friends. We go to Tsim Sha Tsui. We go to church and sing Christmas carols. For example, Jingle Bells, Santa Claus is coming to town and We wish you a Merry Christmas.
The Food of Christmas At Christmas, people eat different kinds of desserts, for example, Christmas cakes , Christmas pudding , Christmas chocolate and Candy Canes(士的糖).
The Food of Christmas At Christmas, people have Christmas meals. They like eating roast goose (烤鵝) and Christmas eggs. Some people like eating turkey and Gingerbread Man.
The Drinks of Christmas People drink different types of drinks, for example, Eggnog(蛋奶酒) , Mulled Wine(香料紅酒什飲) and Pink Lemonade .
The Clothing of Christmas People wear beautiful clothes, boots and scarves. They wear Christmas hats.
2 changes about the customs 1. At Christmas, people do not eat and sleep. This is because they have to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
3 changes about the customs 2. People exchange their Christmas cards and presents nowadays. It is too boring and it wastes money. So they would rather send cards by e-mail.
