Engineers In Residence • Engineers in Residence Funded by Shell • The Shell SPEED Fund program provides annual funds for EIRs (Engineers in Residence) • Also supports student projects • SPEED is a 3 year program that has been funded by SHELL that began in 2006-07
EIR Established Guidelines • Objective: To facilitate contact and mentorship between students and experienced design practitioners in industry • Eligibility: Support for courses in any engineering program with major design projects • Support for experienced engineers from industry to participate in design courses including course development
