Scale of the pedal cycle collision problem - Ireland • 87% pedal cyclists are injured in built up areas • Concentration of crashes in Dublin • But severity of injury is higher outside Dublin • Overall, one in seven pedal cyclists are seriously injured or killed (compared to one in 11 car users) • 400% inc in casualties between 2006-14
