THE ROLE OF A SERVANT • To bring the children to God, through a spiritual relationship with them… • at Church—corporate, sacramental • at home & school—personal, practical life • Both are necessary.
PREPARATION If you do not prepare, you belittle those who depend on you. • Focus on one main objective. • Select verses to support one conclusion. • Start preparing a week ahead of time. • Pray and meditate over the week.
DISCIPLINE • Give time to hear God’s voice. • Prepare your mind and your spirit. • When? Where? (1 Thess 5:17; 1 Tim 5:5)
DELIVERY • Focus: One clear objective. • Story Telling: Our Master’s effective teaching tool! • Variation: Periodically change your approach to keep interest. • Involvement: Let children regularly share. • Love: Touch their spirit. Knowledge without love will be forgotten.

VISITATION • Make time once a week to call. • Call each child once a month. • Visit each child once a year. • Connect with the family. • Spiritually touch the child.
Attendance Relation w. Տէր Հայր Communion Badarak Bible Reading Build their libraries. Send them home with a book. Let them present a five-minute talk about what they have read. TRACKING / FOLLOW-UP
ORDER • Prayer (for the lesson) • Recall previous lesson • Story (very important) • Points—two or three • Application to life • Review / Q & A … • Prayer (for each child by name) “Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.”[1 Cor 14:26]
RELATION WITH DER HAYR • FOR EVERY SERVANT • Monthly personal confession • Sharing of lessons & ideas • Speaking & praying about each child • Sharing ideas about direction • Accountability
RELATION WITH PARENTS • Communicate lesson ideas so the parents can follow up. • Commit to the parents—so they will commit (to bring their children, to reach out for help). • Follow up on family prayers, discussions.
