Mid-Year Report • Summary of highlights included in packet.Major accomplishments include: • Administered 2 semi-annual meetings (Chandler, AZ; DC) • Expanded effort for Bob Gruenig for Status of Pesticides in Indian Country Report (160 of 320 hours) • Filled Executive Committee vacancies for Regions 8-9
Mid-Year Report • Enhanced website with TPPC bed bug and pollinator protection resources • Free WPS materials from PERC • Tracking and reporting to EPA and TPPC
Mid-Year Finances (last page) • $195,000 originally budgeted • Added $110,000 carryover from FY2018 • $72,734 in expenses for FY2019 thru December • = 24% expended and will end FY2019 under budget
Use of Carryover Funds Already approved by the TPPC Executive Committee(Oct18): • Up to $20,000 in travel funding for TPPC members to request to attend pesticide-related meetings in FY2019. • Up to $10,000 in travel funding for up to three (3) TPPC members to participate in EPA’s Regulator in Residence Program in FY2019. • $1,000 allocated for printing/shipping of bed bug packets to interested TPPC member tribes.
Use of Carryover Funds Already approved by the TPPC Executive Committee (Oct18): • Expanding the October 2019 meeting by 1.5 days and include a full-day risk communication training by NPIC specialists. • Addition of one (1) multi-day meeting in Summer 2020 focused solely on leadership skills training (e.g., strengths, leadership/communication style, change management, etc.) • Restoration of the original TPPC logo – thanks to ITCA for doing this!
