Introduction • COLLADA is an open source database schema for data interchange between tools in the content pipeline. • COLLADA 1.2 released. • Specification and XML Schema. • Import/Export plug-ins for XSI, 3DS Max, Maya. • Example data files and source code. • Collaboratively designed by Sony and many companies: Game developers, DCC vendors, middleware vendors, hardware vendors. • http://collada.org - collada@collada.org
