  4. What Can Parents Do To Help? • Keep an open relationship with child • Talk to their children about Internet dangers • Set Parent Controls • Learn about web browsers • Buy security software • Limit and monitor activity

What Can Educators Do to Help? • Bookmark favorite education websites • Educate children on the dangers of the Internet • Have all classroom computers connected to teacher computer for monitoring • Research websites before allowing students to use • Keep students on task • Keep a history log of websites visited

  6. Websites for Keeping Children Safe on the Internet • Kid’s Health- Safety tips and tools for adults, teens, and children • National Center for Missing & Exploited Children- Hotline Information • Perverted Justice- Information on keeping children safe and reporting incidences
