Questions for workshop preparationVirtual Supply Master – reference VSM presentation • Please prepare the following questions for the Virtual Supply Master workshop and bring existing documentation with you. • Which master data enities (Supplier, categories, business units, regions) are currently maintained in current • systems (ERP,..)? • How do the master data records look? (Provide export of records for workshop) • How many Supplier records will RBC migrate into VSM? • How many users should work with the software in the productive environment? • All supplier records have a contact with a valid email? • How many supplier contacts will RBC expect to log onto the RBC Supplier registration environment • and complete supplier regstion content? • Who is responsible for master data currently and going forward? • Data Stewards Manual Master Suppliers • Auto Master Suppliers • Should VSM be the Golden Record (master) system? If not, which system should? • Will SLM be the initial source master application after implemented? • Sourc system SAP or other source sytems for suppliers? • What are your requirements per master data entity? (Which information are mandatory?)

Which are the selection criteria? • When and how often do you want to repeat the processes (update answers)? • Which are the participating roles in the processes?

Questions for workshop preparationPerformance Evaluation • Please prepare the following questions for the supplier evaluation workshop and bring existing documentations with you. • What is the aim of the supplier performance evaluation at RBC? • Which of the following processes are desired to be implemented at RBC? • supplier performance evaluation (specialists at RBC evaluate the supplier) • supplier self evaluation • Suppliers evaluate RBC • Evalautaion of the suppliers strategic importance • others • Is one or more of the above mentioned processes already established at RBC? • Are the established processes supported by a tool (Excel, specific appliction or database, etc.)? • Do you have score cards / KPI’s / criteria sets for desired processes (headline level)? • Would you like to use KPI generated by ERP systems in the performance evaluation (e.g. On time delivery, failure rate)? • Which suppliers have to participate in the different processes? Which are the selection criteria? • When and how often do you want to repeat the processes (update answers)? • Do you want to evaluate the performance of the suppliers category wise and if yes on which category level? (separate evalauations per catagory for the same supplier) • Do you want to evaluate the performance of the suppliers organization wise and if yes on which organization level? (separate evalauations per organizations for the same supplier) • Which are the participating roles in the processes?

Questions for workshop preparationRisk Management • Please prepare the following questions for the supplier evaluation workshop and bring existing documentations with you. • What is the aim of the risk management at RBC? • Which of the following processes are desired to be implemented at RBC ? • Supplier risk assessment • Category risk assessment • Region risk assessment • Which risks do you want to observe and mitigate with the risk assessments?(e.g. Supplier insolvency, supply chain risk, quality, compliance, image) • Is one or more of the above mentioned assessments / processes already established at RBC? • Is risk managment a individual process or part of bigger processes / where? • Are the established processes supported by a tool (Excel, specific appliction or database, etc.)? • Which are menaingful risk indicators in terms of likelihood and impact on RBC business? • Who can evaluate these indicators? • Is there risk information from providers like D&B available at RBC (e.g. Financial stability) or are you willing to purchase such information? • Which suppliers have to participate in the different processes? Which are the selection criteria? • Which are the participating roles in the processes?
