Strategies for computing • alignment, calibration, reconst. & AOD prod. within ALICE computing model • final analyses can be done locally thanks to the small data volume nominal pp @ 14 TeV run: L = 3.1030 cm-2 s-1, t = 107 s sub-detectors: MUON, SPD, V0, FMD, ZDC, T0 full nominal pp run ~ 5 TB of AOD no need to use the grid for final analyses N.
