Music Days Around The World Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso October 8, 2005 200 people packed the garden at the American Cultural Center for the concert, and danced the night away to a variety of musical styles Organized by Todd Haskell The event identified the United States with the promotion of democracy, and peaceful resolution of conflict. 8. Music Days Around The World Top Burkinabe recording artists Diata, Wed-Hyack and Mano-Sniper performed. The three artists began the concert by noting that Daniel Pearl World Music Days promotes "harmony, tolerance and peace for humanity." Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso 

9. Music Days Around The World Nicosia, Cyprus October 14, 2005 A large turnout of Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot. Youth came to see Funkit with MC Stephanie and MC_G-Force, along with Sofoz, Bulmy, PoetzPeace, Roots Crew and Mstafa & DJ Atest at Intercollege’s Cine Studio. Event organized by Tom Miller and Juliette Dickstein.

Music Days Around The World Rabat, Morocco October 3, 2005 The American Cultural Attaché in Morocco hosted a Moroccan/Arabic performance by Nasser Houari, lute, and Soumaya Houari, guitar, along with western classical and jazz pieces. Coordinated by Terry White, Cultural Affairs Officer. Harare, Zimbabwe October 8, 2005 At the Book Café and the Mannenburg Cafe in Harare, Zimbabwe, amateur and professional acts Luck Street Blues, music award winners MbiraDzenharira, stand-up comedian Edgar Langeveldt, jazzists The Other Four, Anjii Greenland, up-and-coming Bongo Love and Evergreen performed throughout the day and evening for children and adults. 13. Music Days Around The World Tel Aviv, Israel October 8, 2005 Alei Gefen Chorus, conducted by Eli Gefen, Artistic Director, performed in Tel Aviv. The Master of Ceremonies was Dan Orstav, of East West House, and speakers included Ambassador Richard H. Jones and Dalia Rabin, daughter of the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Tel Aviv, Israel

14. Music Days Around The World Karachi, Pakistan September 15, 2005 The U.S. Consulate hosted Pakistani pop singer Fail Kapadia. Ambassador Ryan Crocker spoke before the concert. In addition to official embassy sponsored events, we received very positive feedback from several Ambassadors who attended Music Days events. In a prelude event in Concert held for slain journalist Daniel Pearl at US Consulate in Pakistan

The evening, which featured music from Russian and Maltese performers was truly an embodiment of your son's vision of linking people through music.
