  4. Finding Your Site • Authentication • 3 kinds of authentication are available 1. LDAP 3. Pass-Through 2. Shibboleth Administrators, students and/or faculty login using LDAP authentication, which compares their information with an external directory.  Once the function is turned on and the site is configuration for connecting to the LDAP server, the Interfase login pages will use LDAP for authentication instead of direct Interfase authentication.  Once the user is successfully authenticated via LDAP the username entered will be used to complete their login to Interfase. The Shibboleth System is a standards based, open source software package for web single sign-on across or within organizational boundaries. It allows sites to make informed authorization decisions for individual access of protected online resources in a privacy-preserving manner. Interfase is capable of integrating with a Shibboleth implementation on a campus. Pass-Through Authentication can be set up if your campus has a portal site for students that allows them access to many different services using one username and password to login. Interfase can be one of those services! This would allow the student’s authentication to pass through so they are not required to login again when accessing Interfase from your site.

Use your resource library to store helpful documents for your students, like users guides, interview advice or resume tips. You can also use the resource library to store information for your employers like users guides and tips for posting jobs.
