Discussionreview Example case: student A collaborateswith supervisor B and research disciplines C & D anddepartments E & F andwrites a paper that is reviewedby G & H but notby initiator B, etc. • Awareness of co-authorship is part of scientific integrity. • Early timing and explicit communication regarding co-authorship thereby preventing possible issues developing ‘gradually’ over time. • A specific policy / code of conduct / guideline / recommendations for BSI researchers / faculty? • Procedural solution: a logbook to have a clear idea about who was when an how involved. • Storage of ‘problems & solutions’? • No easy / ready-made solutions.
