  2. What is Project Share? Project Share is a statewide initiative to provide quality online professional development to educators across the state with collaborative groups and courses.

What is Project Share? • Project Share is specific to Texas and is hosted in an online platform called Epsilen. • Among the features you will find in Project Share: • Web 2.0 tools (blogs, wikis, etc.) • Professional Development Opportunities • Collaborate with other online PLCs • TEA has partnered up with: • New York Times Knowledge Network • PBS Digital Learning Library • Texas PBS • Texas Education on iTunesU

  4. Why is Project Share important? • For Teachers • Additional Professional Development opportunities (state & local level) • Collaboration with professionals in your district, region, state, country, and even internationally • Access to content materials • Communicate with students & parents

  5. Why is Project Share important? • For Students • Learn appropriate online behavior • Experience learning in an online environment (College and Career Readiness)
