CCSS Conferenceobjectives for Pre-service teachers • Gain a clearer understanding of the intent and purpose of the Common Core State Standards. • What CCSS means nationally • What CCSS means for the State of Arkansas • Create confidence in knowing where to go to seek CCSS information and whom to contact with questions regarding CCSS. • Increase awareness with available resources for classroom teachers to assist with CCSS implementation.
