  23. State Performance Plan (SPP 11) Houston ISD Child Study Job Alike 2013

  24. SPP 11 (cont.) • TEA now only considers the evaluation timeline (i.e. 60 days for 2012-2013 and 45 school days for 2013-2014). • Prior SPP 11 reporting allowed the evaluation to be out of compliance (i.e. over 60 days) as long as the initial ARD/IEP meeting was held within 90 days. • THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE! Houston ISD Child Study Job Alike 2013

  25. SPP 11 (cont.) • SPP 11 reporting requires an IEP/ARD to be held 30 school days following the completion of a FIE. • The 60 + 30 day timeline is no longer relevant Houston ISD Child Study Job Alike 2013

  26. What to expect? • SPP 11 data will be reported by every Evaluation Case Manager (i.e. Evaluation Specialist or SLP) monthly. • The Evaluation Case Manager must contact their Lead for any case in jeopardy of missing the 45 calendar day time. • ZERO non-compliance should be reported without a logged phone call/email to your assigned Lead • Leads will assist you in overcoming barriers preventing evaluation completion. Houston ISD Child Study Job Alike 2013

  27. I Still Do Not Understand? • Only consider the HISD timeline of 45 calendar days to complete an initial evaluation. • The state standard of 45 school days only applies to your monthly SPP 11 reporting. Houston ISD Child Study Job Alike 2013
