Review 2011Background • WSIP 2010-2012 published April 2010 • Continuing infrastructure deficits • Environmental Compliance • Capacity Constraints and planning for future growth • Leakage (unaccounted for water) • Changed economic situation…. • Public finance constraints • Affordability of projects from LA perspective • Need to re-examine priorities • Optimising value for money

Review 2011Approach • 2 Part Review • Part 1 - Review of progress • Snap shot in time of activity across all Local Authorities • Ensure adherence to the programme priorities • Identify issues common to many areas – National Picture • Part 2 - New Additions • Opportunity to address new or unforeseen circumstances through the addition of priority contracts
