  2. The iPad • So what is the iPad? • The iPad is a like the combination of a laptop and a iPod touch. If you really think about it, it looks just like a big iPod touch. • It has the functions of both these things. + =

  3. iPad • How may the iPad change the classroom in the next few years? • To start out with, you can take notes in it with its on-screen keyboard. • This means no more paper, no more pencils or pens. • No paper. No killed trees. (Yay!!) =) • You also have internet access. So that’s really cool. • There’s also the ability to buy eBooks, in this case textbooks. • You get to read them in the iPad and there way cheaper, so the school doesn’t have to waste that much money on textbooks.

  4. Awesome! • So think about it… • In about 10 years or so… with the iPad… • No notebooks. No pencils or pens. No computers. No textbooks. • And if we all buy the Toyota Prius we will live in a very green world.

  5. Smartphones • What is a Smartphone? • A Smartphone is a phone but it’s really smart. • The Smartphones contain some functions like those of a computer and of course those of a phone. • It has internet access just like a computer.

  6. Smartphones #2 • How may a Smartphone change the classroom? • With smartphones, you have the ability to take notes on it and things like that. • If the teacher has one as well, you can text her the answers or comments and things of the sort. • You also have the ability to interact in within the classroom with the rest of the students. In an appropriate way, ask each other for help and things like that. • The Smartphone will also reduce the use of paper and pencils.

  7. New World Of Education • Imagine your classroom with the iPad and smartphones. Everything will be really cool anjd better. No heavy laptops, no paper, no pencils, noo pens, nothing but technology.
