BRAINSTORMING LLNA WORKSHOP - expectations • WHAT DO WE WISH TO ACHIEVE • Raise awareness about the sensitisation test and ensure common understanding/support of Industry approach with a view to having equal acceptance of LLNA & GPMT • To be able to continue using GPMT for the purpose of compliance with REACH when scientifically justified • To have a reliable testing system • To have a reliable database for the development of other test systems

BRAINSTORMING LLNA WORKSHOP - expectations • To raise awareness about the sensitisation test and ensure common understanding/support of Industry approach • Is LLNA the real gold standard • To develop a scientific understanding of the issue to identify the test method which gives the most reliable results according to chemical structures… • To review the Impact of vehicle – list of proposed vehicles, recommendations, acceptance • To determine chemical structure related applicability domain • To impact on the development of « In vitro methods: parameters, • To develop support for Inclusion of Human data (to enable comparison but with a critical eye) • Assay improvement
