Getting Settled for the Day • Children keep backpack and coat in their cubby. • Daily folder is used for school/home correspondence. • Children may order lunch for the day.
Question of the Day • The question of the day reinforces instructed concepts from our curriculum.

How can students tell the difference between normal peer conflict and bullying? Prior Care Experiences • Head Start - preschool for 2-5 year olds from low-income families • PreKindergarten – Howard County Public preschool (NOT affiliated with the Park and Rec Program @ TRES) • Child Care Center - facility that provides care in absence of parent • Family Child Care - care and education provided in a residence other than child’s home • Non-Public Nursery School - education focused school for 3-4 year olds, usually part time (Exp: GUMC, Park and Rec. Centers, Brookfield Christian Academy, Columbia Academy, etc). • Kindergarten - student repeated kindergarten • Exclusively at home means that your child did not • attend child care, pre-school, or nursery school.
