Social integration and equal opportunities – priority axe 3 Total budget PA 3: EUR 398.6 million • Social integration and social services • Social integration of Romany localities members • Integration of socialy excluded groups on the labour market • Equal opportunities of women and men on the labour market

Area of Intervention: Social integration of Romany localities members Total budget of int.area: EUR 42,6 million • Unique, independent area targetted on the Roma integration only • Individual projects (MoLSA, Government Office, regions, municipalities) • Grant projects (NGO, municipalities and other organizations)

Global Grant: Social integration of Romany localities members Total budget of GG: cca EUR 19 million Call for proposals: open until January 31, 2013 Supported projects: 49 (cca 70% of total budget) Share of NGOs: aprox. 30 % of succesful applicants Projects aim to skills and employability of the Romany communities members, or are targetted on the organisations and improvement of their services or capacity.

  6. Grant projects – payments to beneficiaries • 85% ESF – 15% national budget • 100 % financing (24 months project) Start End of project • 1st advance payment*: usually 20% of total amount • 2nd advance payment : usually 20%** • Followed by interim payments: Depends on Payment request***

Grant projects – indirect costs • Indirect costs • usually not directly linked to projects’ activities • mainly administration of the project or hard to declare expenditure • Main advantage • paid based on direct cost no supporting documents for indirect cost are needed • Rates • vary from 5 to 18 % of the budget, depending on the size of the project and the way of projects’implementation
