Expected outputs from this meeting are discussion notes to improve/develop: • PRINCEII Project Initiation Document (PID) • Individual work plans for the project teams • Review of existing web interfaces to climate scenario data • DDP User Requirement draft • DDP User Questionnaire • DDP Functional Specification draft http://badc.nerc.ac.uk

  5. Project Aims (1) We will: • Continue LINK activity: • Managing a data extraction and dissemination chain from MOHC to impacts users. • Manage the IPCC-DDC web site(s): • Involving significant interaction with users and the TGICA. • BADC and MOHC • BADC http://badc.nerc.ac.uk

Project Aims (2) The biggest task is to: • Build a prototype Data Delivery System for the UKCIP 2008 Scenarios: • Project management • DDP Software Infrastructure • Data transfer and management • Web portal development • Integration with Weather Generator: • Scientific  (and use of obs data) • Technical • BADC • BADC • BADC, MOHC • NCL, BADC • UEA • NCL http://badc.nerc.ac.uk

External influences The are a variety of stakeholders, customers and collaborators : • DDP: Defra, UKCIP, MOHC, WG Project, Steering Group, Proj Mngt Group, User Panel, users, EA… • LINK: Defra, MOHC, LINK data users, DDP. • DDC: Defra, TGICA, WDCC and CIESIN (the other DDC websites), IPCC, users. We need clear lines of communication and a good understanding of the various roles. Most of these have already been defined. http://badc.nerc.ac.uk
