Trends, expectance and connections • Pressure for raising the level of feed and food safety will continue –EU consumers are exacting and await that all food on their table is safe !!! • The European Commission together with member states is preparing increasingly stringent requirements and criteria • EC regulations and directives of MRL coccidiostats in feeds and foods • Is preparing regulation of microbiological risks in feeds (salmonella) • Starts the prescriptions revision of the feed medication • Is preparing new regulation of use of animal origin feed (partial unblocking of requirements related to BSE/TSE)
Is reviewing the approach to mycotoxines in feeds, max. limited contents will be probably obligatory • Will be published regulation of feed introduction into cycle during half-year (feed sector will prepare Catalog feed materials and Guidelines for feed labeling) – requirement for transparency
