Example - Payout • Background • Name of employee : XYZ • XYZ employee (in Band 3) rated 4 in the PMS 10-11 • XYZ will have a split of 40:60 in the variable pay • (i.eIndividual performance & Company Performance respectively) • XYZ has a variable component of 10K/year as per CTC Structure. • Definition • Individual Performance – calculated based on performance rating for the year • Company Performance – (Consonants like EBIDTA, Market Share, Employee Engagement Score & many more) is released at the financial year end only. The company gets rated also on a scale of 1 – 5 and will decide the payout %age at the end of financial year. • Calculation • As per standard split, 4K/year is the Individual PLI & 6K/year is the Company PLI. • Individual PLI component – 110% (i.e. 4400) • Company PLI component – Company performs at the desired level and decides to pay 100% - • Variable Pay out = 4400 +6000= 10400
