  4. Unity • The pieces of the artwork come together (completeness)

  5. Colors that conflict with each other. • Light and dark colors. • Attracts the eyes to certain areas of the piece. Contrast

  6. Rhythm Element of art that have an easy movement throughout the art piece.

  7. Keeping everything equal. • No colors overpower others, or to much color was used. • Symmetrical- equal on both sides of artwork. • Asymmetrical- does not weigh equally to both sides. • Radical- equal in length. Balance

  8. Gives action to the viewer’s eye Movement

  9. Pattern • Colors or shapes that are constantly repeating.
