  4. Imperative Sentence • An imperative sentence gives a command • Example: Go clean your room. • Commands often appear in dialogue. • An imperative sentence can use a period or an exclamation mark.

  5. Exclamatory Sentence • An exclamatory sentence shows strong feeling or emotion • Example: I am so excited! • These sentences make a point. • An exclamatory sentence uses a exclamation mark.
