  5. Local control of data system access Three Options: Use same user name and password as district systems (ADFS) Create a single SDE user name and password for all SDE applications (ILM) Self-provisioning Enhanced Security

  6. Education Unique ID (EDUID) • Student IDs – required for students • Staff IDs – required for all staff assigned thru teacher certification, staffing Name matching software

Uploading InformationState Reporting Manager HR Food SIS Trans Gifted Districts review and certify data before final storage and reporting Finance Data Files Supports CSV file types Import &Validate District transmits data Review & Edit Certify Data State acceptance District reviews and corrects their data Storage & Reporting District submits final data SDE accepts final certified data

Districts and Charter schools are eligible for grant funding to assist in development of student and staff detailed data collection files Grant request for application published in late January of 2010 All funding for 2010-2011 will be based upon new detailed data collection process State Help

Prepare and post grant request document Publish file formats Work with SIS vendors Build the systems Training Communication Participation SDE Districts • Complete grant application request if money desired • Prepare information systems to export required information • Certify the data • Frequently check the Website www.sde.idaho.gov/site/isee • Suggest technical teams participate on Tech Talk
