Volcanoes • Mount Etna is Europe's most active volcano. • Communities use Earth diggers to move the dirt out the way to make a path for the lava so it would avoid the villages and buildings. • The biggest ash cloud went up 5000 metres high on the Italian island Sicily, erupting from Mount Etna.
