USAF First Sergeant Academy • Mission – Develop through education and training selected senior noncommissioned officers to serve as advisors to commanders on issues that impact our Airmen in successfully accomplishing our Air Force mission. • Vision – Execute a standardized, state-of-the-art program to maximize first sergeant’s capabilities and develop enlisted leaders for the United States Air Force.

Building Access • You have 24 hours access to this building • Each flight leader will be issued a key for the East entry • See your flight leader for access • Students are responsible for the security of the flight room side of the building • Last student out ensure the building is secured • Students are not allowed unescorted access beyond the glass door in the center of the building…find an instructor!
Graduation Ceremony • Last Friday of Class(DOT 10) • NCO Academy Auditorium • Ceremony at 1430, students in place 1400 • End of course survey completed prior to departure

Non-Attribution Authority AUI 36-2308 • Non-Attribution. Treating statements made in a school setting as information not to be attributed to a specific individual • Faculty remarks will not be released or discussed with any outside body without written permission of the speaker • Acceptable to say a “previous speaker” made a particular statement, but speaker’s name will not be divulged
Academic Freedom AUI 36-2308 • Academic Freedom. Responsible communication, in written or oral form, on any subject related to curricula within a school setting • Issues may be freely discussed and are encouraged to enhance learning • Avoid derogatory attacks of any kind • Destructive criticism of any individual will not be condoned • Ridicule of persons is not academic freedom • Complaints regarding offensive remarks/irresponsible statements may be filed with the Director of Education or Commandant at anytime
Academic Integrity. Uncompromising adherence to ethics, morality, conduct and, scholarship related toacademicactivity. Lack of integrity includes (but is not limited to): Plagiarism. Appropriating the literary composition of one or more other persons Cheating. Knowingly permitting a student to copy work, or answers, from an examination paper Misrepresentation. The act of making an assertion to intentionally deceive or mislead either orally or in writing Unprofessional relationships (including Fraternization). Activity that detracts from the authority of superiors Favoritism. Misuse of office or position for personal gain Academic Integrity AUI 36-2309
Violations(Authority AUI 36-2308 and 2309) VIOLATIONS AUI 36-2308 AND 2309 • Violation of academic freedom, non-attribution and academic integrity policies is a serious matter • Military and civilian students who violate these policies are subject to adverse administrative and/or disciplinary action • Military students may be prosecuted under the UCMJ, Article 92
Course Critiques • EVERY STUDENT must complete 1 critique per day • EACH FLIGHT, 4 per guest speaker. • Input on flight computer in iGecko.
