  2. Initially the Wall was not visited by as many people as it is now today, but this changed after the Great Wall of China campaign, 1993, by the chinese Government. Different parts of the Wall were renovated and restored and then tourism was flourished. Visiting the Great Wall in Beijing by Great Wall Trekclub will help you to explore the different sections of the Wall like Badaling great Wall, Jinsahanling Great Wall, Mutianyu Great Wall, Simatai Great Wall, Jiankou Great Wall, Huanghuacheng Great Wall and Gubeiko Great Wall.

  3. The Jinshanling is one of the most visited sections of the Wall and is located at the Yanshan Mountains, 140 km away from downtown Beijing. It extends from Longyukou in the west and ends at the Wangjinglou Tower in the east. It is at about 2.5 hours of drive away from Beijing. The entire hike to Jinshanling takes approximately 3-5 hours that covers 10 km.

  4. Jiankou Great Wall is at a distance of about 30 km from Huairou County town, in Beijing. It is located in the west of Huairou. It bridges the Mutianyu Great Wall, in the east, and Dazhenyu Great Wall in the west. After 2 hours of drive, we reach Xishanzi village, in Huairou, and then take a walk across the village followed by a hike of 1 hour, then we reach North Tower of Jiankou Great Wall.

  5. Huanghuacheng part of the Wall is surrounded by mountains and lakes all around it. It is about 29km from Huairou. We first reach Huanghuacheng after about 1.5 hour of drive and just after a walk of 15 minutes, we reach the Wall. The total hike takes about 5-6 hours. One is able to get the true pleasure of hiking here as this place though has been renovated, has been kept wild and original.
