Slide 2: Define the problem • Health Education England has inherited a historically based pattern of spending which has no direct relationship with the variation in need for education and training.
Slide 3: State the objective • To create a model which distributes education and training resources at local level by September 2013.
Slide 4: Provide a root cause analysis • History • Expectation and Self-delusion
Slide 5: Explain the selected strategy A pragmatic, repeatable approach which supports innovation, and follows E&T policy on commissioning specialist training
Slide 6: Describe the implementation plan • Include a list of actions and sequencing. • Sort the Governance • Put the key influencers inside the tent (RSG) • Engage the important stakeholders • Accept there may have to be a transition period
